Drywall Repair in Staten Island and Nearby Towns

We fix, hang and finish drywall inside homes across Staten Island and the New Jersey towns just over the water. One person takes your call, sets up the estimate and stays with the job until the work area is swept and clean.

Where we work

Most of our jobs are on Staten Island. We also take drywall work in Bayonne, Elizabeth, Linden, Roselle and Rahway, and down through Carteret, Port Reading, Woodbridge and Perth Amboy. Hazlet is at the edge of our range. Ask when you call and we'll tell you straight if we can get there.

The job runs the same way in every town. The person you talk to on the phone is the one who looks at the damage, explains the patch or repair, sets the schedule and checks the finished wall with you. You don't get passed from a scheduler to a crew lead to someone else for the final walk-through. If a question comes up mid-job, you already know who to ask.

What we see in homes around here

Older houses, mixed walls
Plenty of houses in the area were built before drywall was standard. Some walls are still plaster over lath, and others are a mix after past renovations. Patching plaster with drywall takes shimming and careful feathering so the new section sits flush. We check what your wall is made of before we quote, so the price reflects the real work.
Humid summers, dry winters
Framing swells a little in the muggy months and shrinks once the heat comes on. That movement shows up as nail pops, hairline cracks along taped seams and corners that split every winter. We reset the fasteners, re-tape the joint and use setting compound where a seam keeps opening, instead of smearing filler over it and hoping.
Water-stained ceilings
A leak from an upstairs bathroom or a winter ice backup leaves ceiling board soft, sagging or stained. Once the source above is fixed, we cut out the damaged board, hang new pieces and match the texture so the ceiling repair blends in.
Permits and building rules
Small patches and repairs usually don't need a permit. Bigger jobs, like new walls, can involve the local building department, and the rules differ between New York and New Jersey. We'll tell you what applies before work starts. In co-ops, condos and rentals, we work within building hours and cover shared hallways so dust stays out of them.

Tell us about the wall

Call and describe the damage, even roughly. You'll talk to the person who will run your job, and we'll set a time to look at it and give you a quote by phone.
